Alluri Padma Raju, is presently the Vice-Chancellor of Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University. He graduated from Agricultural College, Bapatla in 1965 and obtained his Master's and Doctorate from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. Before joining the then Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University which is now, Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University, he was a Junior Soil Physicist at College of Agriculture, Anand in Gujarat. He has served his current university for nearly four decades as a Soil Physicist, Senior Soil Physicist, Associate Director of Research and Director of Research prior to his superannuation in 2005. He has mentored 6 Post Graduate students majoring in Soil Science, has published 70 papers in National and International journals and has been associated with various projects of Government of India such as Indo-Dutch Network project. Padma Raju established an NGO 'Varsha' to cater to the needs of farming system and participatory approaches in agriculture and allied sectors for their sustainability. He has also played a key role in the development of 46 varieties of different crops which are very popular within Andhra Pradesh as well as in the adjoining States. He is a recipient of several awards such as DOREEN Award and Ritunestham Life Time Achievement Award among others.

Amit Banerjee is currently the Vice Chancellor of Siksha O Anusandhan University. Earlier, he was the Vice Chancellor of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences from 2011-2014. He is an eminent cardiothoracic surgeon of international repute who has served in premier medical colleges like JIPMER, Pondicherry and Maulana Azad Medical College and Associated Lok Nayak and G B Pant Hospitals, New Delhi. He was superannuated as Super-time Senior Administrative Grade Officer of Central Health Service. He has been the Medical Superintendent of two teaching and super specialty hospitals. He has been rewarded as a distinguished alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College. He has authored nearly 150 scientific papers, invited chapters and books. Banerjee is a recipient of the BC Roy National Award, Delhi Govt State Award and Indira Gandhi Excellence Award in addition to several other awards, orations and international fellowships.
Ananda Amritmahal

Ananda Amritmahal is Principal of Sophia College for Women and Head of the department of English at the College. She is also Coordinator of the Sophia Centre for Women's Studies and Development. An expert in Women's Studies, Ananda has published a book - 'Relatedness and Resistance: A Feminist Critical Analysis of Some Indian Women Writers', as well as a number of articles on woman-related issues. Her areas of specialization are Women's Writing and Feminist Literary Criticism, and Indian Writing in English. She was awarded the Fulbright Teaching Fellowship as Visiting Lecturer at Loyola University, Chicago for the spring semester of 2012. She was also appointed the Gannon Visiting Research Scholar at Loyola during the same period.

Anup Swarup, presently the Vice Chancellor of Jagran Lake University, has been a Presidential Awardee of Republic of India in 2003, was nominated by the UN secretary in 2007 and served as the Vice Chancellor of Shobhit University in 2008. He holds a doctorate and four distinguished Masters from leading universities of India and abroad- notable being a Fulbright scholar to US as well as Commonwealth scholar to Cambridge University. He carries over three decades of experience in diverse roles as a civil servant, peace activist, life scientist, social entrepreneur and educationist. He started his career in the public sector with the General Insurance Corporation of India and in various senior roles as a civil servant with Government of India. He conceptualized the 'National Reconstruction Corp', 'Millennium Youth Parliament', and initiated a 'National Think Tank' in Union ministry of Finance among his many notable works. He is founder Trustee of 'Indian Council of Gandhian Studies' and is in global advisory boards of distinguished organizations such as 'World Business Council' and 'Indian Institute of Public Administration', to name a few. He is a visiting professor to several institutions in India and abroad and has authored several research papers and books.

Professor Arun Jamkar took charge as the Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in December 2010. He did his M.S. from Marathwada University and his Ph.D. in the subject of Surgical Oncology from University of Pune. He has also served as the Acting Vice Chancellor of Yashwantrao Chawan Maharashtra Open University. Dr. Jamkar has been teaching undergraduate and post graduate students for almost 30 years and has been awarded International Fellowship in Medical Education for his innovative teaching techniques. He is appointed as the PATRON to the Nodal Centre UNESCO Chair in Bioethics. He is a gifted surgeon having performed more than 10,000 major surgical procedures especially of urology and oncology using even new techniques of laparoscopic surgery. He is an expert in Kidney transplant surgery having trained at Freeman Hospital New Castle in UK. As the Dean, Dr. Jamkar provided great leadership in Sassoon Hospital to handle Critical cases of Swine Flu Infection and mobilized all hospitals in Pune to handle the challenge for which he was praised by the Maharashtra Government. He has been a recipient of several awards, notably, 'Fellow of International College of Surgeons', 'Award for outstanding contribution to education', 'National Education Leadrship Award' among others. He joined the IAS while undergoing research training in Biotechnology in IVRI, Uttar Pradesh in 1998. He is also an alumnus of London, Turin and Duke Universities in various postgraduate programmes. Previously, he was the Private Secretary or Chief of Staff of Union Minister for Agriculture and Food. He has worked on different areas of astronomy and astrophysics for about 35 years and has made a number of interesting contributions in different aspects of extragalactic astronomy. G.R.C. Reddy graduated from Osmania University and subsequently did his M.Sc. in Engineering Physics and P.hD. from NIT Warangal where he also joined as a faculty in the Department of Physics. After his long career spanning over two decades as faculty and at NIT Warangal, he joined as the Director of NIT Calicut in the year 2005. Due to his untiring efforts, NIT Calicut was transformed from an ordinary engineering college to an excellent teaching and research 'National Institute'. Dr. Reddy specializes in Photonics and has published over 80 research papers in National and International journals. He was on the high level delegation of Heads of Technical Institutions led by Secretary, MHRD, Govt. of India in the year 2008 and has also served on several National committees constituted by MHRD, Govt. of India which include faculty restructure committee for NITs, pay anomalies committee, AIEEE exam reforms committee among others. Indu Sahani is the Principal of H.R. College of Commerce & Economics. She did her PhD in academia-industry collaboration from University of Mumbai and has over three decades of teaching experience. Mahendra Pal Singh is Chancellor of the Central University of Haryana and Chair Professor of Comparative Law at National Law University Delhi. He has done his Masters in Law from Columbia and Doctorate in Law from Lucknow. Earlier he was the Chairperson of Delhi Judicial Academy, New Delhi and the Vice-chancellor of the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. N.N. Maldar, currently the Vice Chancellor of Solapur University, did his Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from University of Pune. He was also a post doctoral research fellow at Tokyo Institute of Technology where he received the MONBUSHO fellowship from Govt. of Japan. His fondness for Japanese language made him fluent in advanced Japanese. Narendra S. Chaudhari is presently the Director of VNIT Nagpur. He completed his undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies at IIT Bombay in 1981, 1983, and 1988 respectively. He has shouldered many senior level administrative positions in Universities in India as well as abroad such as Devi Ahilya University in Indore, Nanyang Technological University Singapore and IIT Indore. He has done significant research work on game AI, novel neural network models like binary neural nets and bidirectional nets, context free grammar parsing, and graph isomorphism problem. Onkar Singh is the founding Vice Chancellor of Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology. He did his Ph.D in 1999 and is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Harcourt Butler Technological Institute. He started his career as Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering at Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow in 1991. During his tenure as Additional Controller of Examination at Uttar Pradesh Technical University, he initiated the usage of ICT and innovative OMR cover answer books for better transparency and management. Dr. P. J. Narayanan is presently the Director of IIIT, Hyderabad. He did his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur in the year 1984. For the next two years, he worked in the Lipi group of CMC Ltd and subsequently went on to complete his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland in 1992. He became a research faculty member at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University from 1992 to 1996. Before, joining IIIT Hyderabad in the year 2000, he headed the Computer Vision and Virtual Reality groups at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, DRDO, Bangalore. He has also served as the Dean of Research of IIIT Hyderabad from 2006 onwards before taking charge as Director. Dr. Narayanan research interests include Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, GPU Computing, and Virtual Reality. He was the General Chair of the second Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics, and Image Processing in 2000 and the Program Chair of the Asian Conference on Computer Vision in 2006 and 2010. He is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Parallel and Distribute Computing and also served as Senior Programme Committe member of International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence.

Pandit Bhalchandra Vidyasagar is presently the Vice Chancellor of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University. He did his Ph.D. in Biophysics and has over three decades of teaching experience. Formerly, he was the Head of the Department of Physics and Director of the Board of College and University Development, University of Pune. His participation in the curriculum development program of UGC helped introduce interdisciplinary component in Physics. At present he is working as a convener of the Board of Studies to design the syllabus and write text books for the IX and X standard to be used by 1.4 million students in the state of Maharashtra. He has made significant contribution in popularizing science among masses and has written 16 books which include biography of C V Raman, Albert Einstein, two science fictions - Superclone and Antarali, more than 250 articles, 30 radio talks, 40 films and lectures at various places in urban, semi urban, rural and tribal areas. Prafulla Agnihotri holds a Master's Degree in Management Studies and Ph.D. in International Marketing Strategy from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He has about ten years' experience in the industry- in sales, marketing and training, and over fifteen years of experience in academics. He is the founder director of IIM Tiruchirappalli. Before taking over the current post, he was a Professor in marketing group at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. He teaches courses in Marketing Management, International Marketing, Services Marketing and Strategic Brand Management. He has co-authored a book with renowned authors titled Principles of Marketing which has been published by Pearson Education. As a professional corporate trainer he has so far conducted his training programmes and workshops in India, UAE and France. He was declared the Best Teacher in Marketing Management at 16th Business School Affaire and was awarded the Best Professor in marketing award at the Asia's Best B-School Awards by CMO Asia on 23rd July, 2010 at Singapore. Rajiv Seth is the Pro Vice Chancellor and the acting Vice Chancellor of 'The Energy and Resources Institute'. He holds a B Tech degree from the IIT, Kanpur and an M.Tech from the IIT Madras. Thereafter, he has done his Ph.D in Business Administration from the Aligarh Muslim University. An Aerospace Engineer by training, Rajiv spent 27 years in the Indian Air Force having worked on various types of aircrafts and aero engines in the domain of technical evaluation, field testing and technology transfer. Over the last fourteen years, he has been associated with the conceptualization and the growth of the TERI University where he is also a Professor of Finance. He has been deeply involved in an international consortium of universities in the Asia-Pacific, which is led by the United Nations University, and which focuses on the integration of sustainable development in higher education. Professor Rajiv has also worked on several national projects associated with renewable energy, climate change and agriculture such as 'National Mission on Sustainable Agriculture'. His research interests are in the areas of financial derivatives, risk management and green aviation.

He has over three decades of teaching experience and is a Professor of Physics at his alma mater. He has also been a Professor at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University between 1996 and 1998. Somak Raychowdhury

Professor Raychowdhury is the Director of the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune. He completed his B.Sc degree in Physics from Presidency College, a BA degree in Physics from Trinity College, University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Cambridge. Previously, he was Professor and Head of Physics at Presidency University in Kolkata. His research interests lie in the study of the evolution of galaxies in groups and clusters, and on the super cluster filaments of the cosmic web in which he has published over 80 research papers. Professor Somak has used optical, X-ray, radio, infrared and ultraviolet observations to understand how the transformations of galaxies are related to their local and global environment. In addition, he leads a substantial outreach programme involving school students, teachers and the general public. He was one of the key people to start the Indian Astronomy Olympiad. He is a fellow of the Indian Astronomical Union, a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and a fellow of the European Astronomical Society as well.

Swapan Bhattacharya is the Director of NIT Surathkal. Earlier, he was the Director of NIT Durgapur, West Bengal. He began his career as a Systems Analyst with M.N. Dastur & Company before joining IIM Kolkata in 1985 as a Systems Analyst in its Computer Assisted Management Centre. Later, he again joined as an Associate Professor there in 1997. Meanwhile, he was an Assistant Professor at IIT Bombay and then a Reader in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Calcutta. He has served as the Professor and Head of the Computer Science Department both at Jadavpur University and National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research, Kolkata. He has done several collaborative research works with University of New Castle in UK, and Michigan University in the US. He was also a visiting faculty member at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok. Professor Bhattacharya is the Founder Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Atilim University at Ankara. He was also the Coordinator of PhD program in Software Engineering at Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey. Swapan is a recipient of Young Scientist Award from UNESCO, Award of Sr. Research Associateship from National Research Council, USA and the ET Now Education Leadership Award in 2013.

He was a Post-Doctoral fellow with the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. He has also taught at Arba Minch Institute of Water Technology, Ethiopia. Professor Vijay Gupta is currently the Vice Chancellor of Sharda University. He did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi and went on to finish his PhD. in Aerospace Engineering from University of Minnesota. He joined IIT Kanpur as a faculty member in 1973 where he continued his work for more than three decades. Taking short sabbaticals from work, he acted as Visiting Professor at University of Minnesota, as Head of the School of Engineering and IT at South Asia International University and as a Vice Chancellor of Punjab Engineering College. He was also the Vice Chancellor of Lovely Professional University where the Central Library has been named after him to honor his contributions to the University. At Punjab Engineering College he was awarded the honor of 'Punjab Ratna' for his remarkable achievements. He has published fourteen books, produced video films on popular technology and won the Best Presentation Award in the National Education Film Festival of UGC. A member of the Technical Education Panel of the National Knowledge Commission, he has contributed to several national projects in the areas of aerodynamics and engineering fluid mechanics.

Vivek Ranade is currently the Deputy Director and Chair of the research institute 'National Chemical Laboratory'. He is a Professor at Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research and an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology Mumbai. He has also worked as guest researcher at ETH Zurich, TU Delft and University of Twente, The Netherlands. He is a fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering and Indian Academy of Sciences. Y. K. Vijay received his M.Sc. degree in Physics and Ph.D. degree from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur (India) in 1975 and 1980 respectively. He was awarded Commonwealth and ICTP fellowships and spent one year in Uppsala University Sweden. He served as a Professor, Department of Physics, Director, Centre for Development of Physics Education and Centre for Non-conventional Energy Resources at University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India. Vijay has co-authored over 200 research articles in refereed journals (Citation over 1500, "h" index 20) and over 150 research papers in conference proceedings. He has delivered over 100 invited talks and has co-authored two books on Basic and Semiconductor Physics. He has also helped develop the Electron Positron Accelerator, XRF CVD and Positron Lifetime Spectrometer. He has been spent 33 years in teaching and research field of semiconductor thin films and nano porous polymeric filters. His current research interests are polymer blends for organic photovoltaic cells, design and development of CNTs/Polymer composite based gas sensors and gas separation filters. He is also studying photo luminescence and nonlinear optical properties of nano particles doped polymeric composites.
